The technology of these pumps differs greatly from that of primary water pumps in terms of weight, size, material and with regards the electronic components they contain. After making a detailed study, Metelli Group has decided to provide its distributor network - with the brands METELLI, GRAF and KWP - with a range of about 25 references covering most of the latest car models (approx. 400) on the roads that require greater efficiency. The main vehicles make are Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi and BMW, but also cars with a small-medium engine capacity like Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, Ford, Opel, etc., as lately auxiliary pumps are being mounted on every type of car, whatever the fuelling type or engine capacity.

Certain vehicles are fitted with more than one pump for the different types of system supported, and the maintenance schedule of auxiliary electric pumps is similar to that for traditional mechanical ones, so it will be increasingly important in the future for the distribution network to provide its customers with solutions of this type.
